Small Groups

There are a number of opportunities at First Presbyterian Church to be involved in a small group study or activity.

The Commoners are a group of adults who gather on Thursday mornings in the Fellowship Room for lunch and Bible study.

This year Loni McCormick will lead the group through Matthew: The Coming of the King by John MacArthur.

You are invited to join the discussion at 11:00 a.m. and bring a sack lunch for fellowship at 12:30 p.m.

A group of men meet at the church at 8:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month. They enjoy conversation over breakfast and then study one of the books of the Bible.

This year the group is studying the letters of Paul.

You can join the group at any time and are always welcome to bring a friend!

Esther Circle is a women's Bible study group that meets once a month for desert and a study.

The ladies meet with leader Nancy Siewert in the Fellowship Room on the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m.  A different hostess provides the desert each month.

This year the group is studying the Beatitudes using the Horizon's Bible study prepared for Presbyterian Women.

The Pres Folk group is for members of the church and friends who enjoy coming together for fellowship.

On the third Thursday of the month, Pres Folk meets at 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Room and delights in a diverse schedule of activities and programs as the year rolls on.

They look forward each month to joining with their friends and are pleased when new persons come and join the group.
