Our Vision

God Nourishes All to Grow

The God of abundance is at work in the world. God’s spirit guides and leads us all in our daily lives.  God nourishes (feeds) our bodies and minds both physically and spiritually. God calls all generations to grow and follow Jesus’ example through worship, prayer, and study of his Word.

God:

God, and his direction for us, is the basis for everything we do as individuals and as members of different communities. Our understanding of God is the core of our existence and all our actions.

Nourishes:

God nourishes us physically and spiritually. God continuously feeds us with God’s love, God’s direction, and God’s power. God does “Give us this day our daily bread” every day. Jesus said, “I am the bread of life,” and our spiritual hunger is satisfied by following Jesus.

All:

God nourishes all mankind. Everyone is included; regardless of race, ethnicity, age, sex, disability, geography, or theological conviction. We are each a part of “All,” and must work continuously to understand that we are a part of “All.”

To Grow:

We all grow, perhaps in parallel, perhaps in different directions and ways. Growing is learning, growing is maturing, growing is challenging. Growing is about changing for the better, and for the glory of God. As long as we are living, we should continue to grow.

Vision Directive:

Understand our vision, challenge our vision, and reinforce our vision.
