The purpose of Christian Education for the children is to reach out to them as they are, to teach them the Bible and God's love, and to provide opportunities to develop, enrich and practice their faith. We achieve this through Sunday School, worship, and special activities.

We provide a church school from September to May, for Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, using the Presbyterian curriculum We Believe.

We value children in worship, but realize it can be hard for them to sit for a long period of time. Each Sunday we offer nursery care, a special time for the children to come foward for a message tailored to them, an enrichment time during the school year, and worship bags to help you and your children feel comfortable during worship.

Our well-equipped and staffed nursery and childcare room is located in room 205. Ask about our pager system which allows you to be discretely reached if your child needs you.

At this time we welcome all children to come forward and hear a message given by one of our members. This is a great way for children to participate in worship.

Two different age-appropriate activity bags and children's bibles are provided to engage children during worship. Ask an usher for help in locating the bags.

Keeping children involved is vital to any church. We created a simple, local mission to involve the children and church members. Children are invited to a Preparation for Communion class when they are ready to receive the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper.

We prepare Second Graders to come to the Lord's Table. Children are taught the meaning of the Sacrament, bake bread, make colorful stoles to wear, and talk with the Pastor.
